For beginners, start with understanding the soft brush technique, basic strokes and write student's own name in Chinese. For intermediate level in class, focus on improving structure and stokes in writing, overall arrangement of characters and understand the beauty of Chinese characters and underlying cultures and meanings of characters. Students will participate in the annual Chinese Association Calligraphy Contest, which is full of fun, challenge and best of all, principle's icecream treat! |
Offer an introduction to the art form of Chinese Calligraphy. Improve the character writing as a supplement to the regular Chinese Class. Increase student interest in Chinese learning through form of art.
