Teaching Goal
K Students who are new learners with little or no background of Chinese. Recommended for kindergarteners or ages 5-6. HANYU PINYIN by JINAN University Publishing, China Chinese Pinyin, assembled by 23 initials, 24 finals, 16 whole syllables and four tones, will be the focus of main teaching in the school year. Chinese language (ex. daily greeting) and culture (ex. traditions and holidays) will be introduced through songs, rhymes, games, and interactive activities in the class. Weekly homework and bi-annual academic contests are associated with classroom teaching. Students who completed the courses in academic year will be able to read short phrases/sentences with pinyin. Students will be able to present simple daily greeting, count numbers and sing children songs in Chinese. Students will be able to apply their learning in Pinyin to Chinese reading and writing in the future.
1st Grade the elementary 1st grade student or child who had successfully learned PinYin. the main teaching is focus on the accredited textbook implemented with video interactive learning process.  The regularly and impromptu tests, weekly homework and bi-annual academic contests are associated with classroom teaching. Students who completed the courses in academic year will be able to read, write and speak 120 basic Chinese letters and advance doing phrases and sentences.
2nd Grade Book two class students who had successfully completed the Chinese Pin Yin and book one. the main teaching is focus on the accredited textbook one edition, combined some games to teach Chinese culture. The regularly test and quiz, weekly homework, and bi-annual academic contests are associated with classroom teaching. students who completed the courses in academic year will be able to read, write and speak 140 more basic Chinese characters based on the charcters in book one, and able to make up advanced phrases and sentences.
3rd Grade Students who have learned Pinyin, and Chinese Level 1 and Level 2 The teaching is based on Textbook Level 3, with WorkBook A, B as daily exercises to help students understand, apply the Chinese characters, phrases, and making sentences. The quizzes, weekly homework, games, and bi-annual academic contest are part of class activities to help students learn Chinese in a fun learning environment. After completing one-year of Level 3 Chinese study, students are required to grasp all the new characters in the text, read and be able to make phrases and sentences with the key words. at least learn 300 words at 3rd grade.
4th Grade Students who have learned Pinyin, Chinese Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. The teaching is based on Textbook Level 4, with Workbook A and B as daily exercises to help students understand, apply the Chinese characters, phrases, and making sentences. The quizzes, weekly homework, and bi-annual academic contest are part of class activities to help students learn Chinese in a fun learning environment. Students who have completed the courses in academic year will be able to: 1. Read and write all the new characters in the text; make phrases and sentences. 2. Improve reading comprehend in Chinese. 3. Improve writing skill.

7th Grade 7th grade student who had successfully completed the Chinese 6th Grade class. the main teaching is focus on the accredited textbook 7th edition, incorporate with Chinese SAT II practice test. The regularly test and quiz, weekly homework, and bi-annual academic contests are associated with classroom teaching. students who completed the courses in academic year will be able to read, write and speak 180 basic Chinese characters, and able to make up advanced phrases and sentences.
8th Grade Students who had successfully completed elementary level of Chinese (Grade 1st-7th) and started intermediate level (Grade 8th) learning. This class is recommended for students who are pursuing advance Chinese learning. ZHONG WEN Level 8 -- by JINAN University Publishing, China. The main teaching is focus on advanced Chinese learning through middle/high school lever reading, writing, and language comprehension. Students will be guided to build up language ability in order to master in authentic environment as native speakers. National language standard test preparation will be included as supplementary content. Students who completed the courses in academic year should have developed stronger language ability, and be able to express themselves meaningful. They should be able to involve more activities in target language. They will build up better language comprehension in speaking, reading, and writing.
